Hello – I’m Kuma QM, every time. Today, I’ve been working on the ‘An angel descended on me! I put in the dialogue for the doujin comicand did the preliminary drawings for the facial expressions. I used to put in the dialogue at the end, but I often had to redraw the facial expressions depending on the dialogue, so recently I’ve changed the procedure to putting in all the dialogue before starting to put in the pen, and then doing the preliminary drawings for the facial expressions accordingly. If I have to think about all the dialogue at the Storyboarding stage, it slows down my work speed, so I try to decide on the general outline of the dialogue and then work on the dialogue later. There may not be many people who draw comic in this way.In my case, this is partly because I am a doujin, so I don’t have to show storyboards to editors and others.

I went to the orthopaedic surgeon this evening. I was told that for now there is nothing more to worry about and that I should come back for an injection as soon as my shoulder is in trouble again.
